Marking National Manufacturing Day 2022: An insight into careers in Chemical Manufacturing

National Manufacturing Day (NMD) will take place on Thursday 7 July 2022. The initiative is being led by Make UK, which offers an opportunity for young workers to gain an insight into modern manufacturing settings and the career options available in manufacturing industries.

Robinson Brothers is a proud member of MAKE UK - The Manufacturers' Organisation. The company has been manufacturing speciality/fine chemicals and rubber accelerators for more than 150 years. Located in the West Midlands (UK), Robinson Brothers has grown to become an award-winning chemical manufacturer serving industries across the world with key ingredients.

As manufacturing industries continue to promote the diverse roles available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines, this National Manufacturing Day 2022 Robinson Brothers turn the spotlight on careers in chemical manufacturing…

At Robinson Brothers, engineering is a vital component of the business operations. Civil, mechanical, chemical and electrical engineers work collectively to ensure chemical reactions can be performed safely and efficiently in research & development laboratories and manufacturing plants. Engineering in chemical manufacturing can vary from designing a chemical plant, commissioning equipment and identifying methods to optimise the performance of an existing manufacturing plant.
